"Setiquette"

A child's success really often depends as much on the parent's professional etiquette as it does on the child's talent!
Manage rejection gracefully, this industry is all about rejection. Agents and Casting Directors don’t explain why a certain child wasn't selected for a particular job or audition.
Managing expectations in this industry is essential for both parents and young models.
For the vast majority, it’s a fun chapter, not a lifelong story.

Arrive at least 15 minutes early for all appointments. Respond to agency communications promptly to show you are reliable and easy to work with. Child modelling is 80% waiting and 20% working.

Your primary job is to be the guardian. Unless you are specifically asked for help (e.g., with a toddler), avoid interfering.

Do not offer unsolicited advice or coaching to your child while they are working or disrupt the production.

If your child shows discomfort or disinterest, prioritize their emotional well-being over pursuing opportunities.
